Social challenge and approach to solutions 2

Social challenge 2
Self-learning or follow-up of the school material at home is particularly difficult for children from social backgrounds. Playful media-based learning is possible through digital solutions. However, mobile devices are only available when they have the right purchasing power – as iPads for children from richer parents’ homes. This social injustice has an effect on early-stage development, even in vocational training.

Vision as a solution 2
A free and easily accessible ITK solution for smartphones and tablets available on all systems Android, iOS and Windows would not be bad. This could serve as a self-study but suitable for learning purposes from the school context. It should be conducive to the learning process through fun factors, in addition, multilingual and barrier-free, so that maximum participation for all and thus justice in education is possible at an early stage.

Stay tuned …

Yours, Peggy Reuter-Heinrich
